CUSTOMER NOTICE

Unfortunately during the pandemic couriers have not been able to get signatures when delivering parcels to customers addresses, this practice is not likely to change in the near future. During this time we have had a number of reported lost/stolen parcels which we have replaced but not been able to claim from the couriers due to extra cover not being taken out at the time of sending the parcel. This has now become a problem. When we send out our parcels overseas they are all fully covered to the value of their order which has proven to be beneficial.
We are looking to offer the insurance cover to our customers so that should anything happen to their parcel it will be replaced. You will of course be given the option to decline having your order insured however if the insurance is not taken out then we will not be able to replace the items lost or stolen free of charge.
Rather than increasing all our postage prices to allow for this extra cover we felt that it would be better to go on value of order.
Therefore orders with a value of:
£0 - £1,000 the insurance cost will be £2.00
£1,001 - £2,000 the cost will be £4.00
£2,001 - £3,000 the cost will be £6.00
£3,001 - £4,000 the cost will be £8.00 and so on.
This is for parcels being sent by the courier only, Royal Mail do offer an insurance service but items that go this way tend to be of a lower value. If you would like your Royal mail items insured then please let us know at the time of your order.
We are reviewing the courier services and will notify you of any changes in the future
